Plastic-bag recycling in Connecticut's Greater Hartford region has increased 11% since the American Chemistry Council launched its Wrap Recycling Action Program there last year. The American Chemistry Council on Thursday updated its list of plastics and chemicals facing Chinese tariffs to say the round targets 80% of incoming US polyethylene capacity. Linear low-density and high-density polyethylene will be affected by tariffs, ACC said.
